Jakarta, August 8, 2023 – Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan (SAAJA) has been in operation since 2002. Founded by Farid Faqih and supported by volunteer Iin, SAAJA embarked on a mission to establish a Kindergarten (TK) catering to children aged 4 to 7, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds. Eventually, this kindergarten was constructed in Pengarengan and named the School for the Poor (SRM) before adopting the name Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan (SAAJA).
Taking a significant stride towards making a positive societal impact and forging a brighter future for the younger generation, PT. Homeco Victoria Makmur has initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program centered around the theme “Caring for the Nation’s Children.” In a bid to assist children, the company has generously donated stationery, coloring sets, as well as lunch boxes and drinking bottles to Sekolah Alternatif Anak Jalanan (SAAJA).
The CSR program, “Caring for the Nation’s Children,” organized by PT. Homeco Victoria Makmur, represents a substantial commitment to advancing the education and well-being of street children. This endeavor underscores the company’s pivotal role in ensuring equal opportunities for the nation’s children to flourish and thrive. In the spirit of “Caring for the Nation’s Children,” PT. Homeco Victoria Makmur hopes to inspire other organizations and businesses to extend their care towards Indonesian children who are striving for a better future.
